Operations Team

What is the Operations Team?

Our Operations Team is our group of outside unpaid volunteers. They manage and coordinate the work of San Quentin SkunkWorks outside of San Quentin. They are the direct counterpart to, and help to realize the dreams of, the Impact Team at SkunkWorks. All of the members of the Operations Team are unpaid, including both our Directors and our program volunteers.

Jessie Harney’s path to Board Chair and Director of Public Policy at San Quentin SkunkWorks is rooted in a blend of research and a drive for tangible, evidence-based reform. A graduate of UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy PhD and current Assistant Professor at Colorado State, Jessie’s expertise in public policy is not just academic, thus, her reason for joining San Quentin SkunkWorks.

Kyle does a lot of everything for San Quentin SkunkWorks. From web design to balancing the budget there is not much that Kyle isn’t involved in. However, some of his more important responsibilities entail overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, playing a critical role in ensuring that our organization is running smoothly and efficiently, and that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
