Operations Team
What is the Operations Team?
Our Operations Team is comprised of our outside staff, volunteers, and board members. They coordinate the work of San Quentin SkunkWorks and manage our non-profit organizational operations. They are the direct counterpart of our incarcerated Impact Team, and together these teams make our dreams at SkunkWorks come true. The members of the Operations Team bring diverse professional expertise and backgrounds, including varying levels of being justice impacted. They are all passionate about making a positive difference in the justice system by advancing SQ SkunkWorks’ mission and vision.

Jessie Harney

What Jessie does at San Quentin SkunkWorks:
Jessie Harney’s path to Board Chair and Director of Public Policy at San Quentin SkunkWorks is rooted in a blend of research and a drive for tangible, evidence-based reform. A graduate of UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy PhD and current Assistant Professor at Colorado State, Jessie’s expertise in public policy is not just academic, thus, her reason for joining San Quentin SkunkWorks.
Kyle Winchell

What Kyle does at San Quentin SkunkWorks:
Kyle does a lot of everything for San Quentin SkunkWorks. From web design to balancing the budget there is not much that Kyle isn’t involved in. However, some of his more important responsibilities entail overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, playing a critical role in ensuring that our organization is running smoothly and efficiently, and that we are meeting our goals and objectives.

What Niki does at San Quentin SkunkWorks:
As a founding member of San Quentin SkunkWorks, Niki wears many hats—she’s stylish like that. In addition to providing leadership, oversight, and strategic direction, she assists in administrative and IT support. She also helps with marketing and graphic design.
What Joshua does for San Quentin SkunkWorks:
As Chief Operating Officer, Joshua provides leadership for SkunkWorks operations, strategic planning, and goal performance. He helps to manage our programs, oversees implementation, and supports our personnel.
Yasmine Barghouty

As Vice President of Operations, Yasmine manages SkunkWorks operations and strategic planning. She runs our programs, oversees implementation, watches our budget, and supports our staff.
