What Kyle does at San Quentin SkunkWorks:
Kyle does a lot of everything for San Quentin SkunkWorks. From web design to balancing the budget there is not much that Kyle isn’t involved in. However, some of his more important responsibilities entail overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, playing a critical role in ensuring that our organization is running smoothly and efficiently, and that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
What motivates him:
As someone who was incarcerated Kyle was motivated by the injustices he witnessed. A continued source of inspiration is the knowledge that there are still humans bearing the weight of that injustice.
What does Kyle do when contemplating the philosophical issues surrounding the judicial system:
Unfortunately, he just considers a wide variety of other philosophical issues. His favorite pastimes are reading, watching baseball, and spending time with his wife, Autumn.
Credentials:
Kyle studied philosophy at Bakersfield College and CSU Bakersfield, worked as a math instructor and in technical support, and, of course, was incarcerated for a year at San Quentin.
Ask me about:
The moral dilemmas surrounding incarceration, his most recent philosophical inquiries, the struggle to improve at chess, and Yankees baseball.
